The Law Office of Clyde Guilamo, LLC. offers an unpaid Legal Internship/Externship Program for students interested in Criminal Justice! Not only will we work with your school/teacher and complete all necessary documents for you to receive academic credit, but we also offer interns their own workspace (office), and the leisure to work remotely.

About our Legal Internship and Externship Program

Our firm is currently seeking dedicated and passionate interns to join our team for the upcoming summer season. As an intern at our criminal law firm, you will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced criminal defense attorney and gain hands-on experience in criminal law. The responsibilities may include:

• Conduct legal research on cases or laws (i.e. researching crimes like First Degree Murder or Drug-Induced Homicide)
• Draft legal documents, such as motions and pleadings
• Assist attorneys in court
• Attend client meetings and court hearings
• Help manage client files and paperwork
• Participate in case strategy meetings
• Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones and filing documents
• Other duties as assigned by the supervising attorney

Qualifications:

• A Current paralegal student, law student, or recent law school graduate
• Interested in criminal law and pursuing a career in criminal law
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Availability to work at least 15 hours per week
